Set amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Jerusalem Hills, this unique private residence was designed to harmoniously blend functionality, aesthetics, and spirituality. The project was conceived to meet the specific needs of a family where both parents are yoga instructors, creating a seamless integration between living and working spaces.

The core design concept is based on a diagonal spatial arrangement, an elegant architectural solution that allows for a natural and effective separation between the yoga studio and the family’s private living areas. This approach ensures maximum privacy for both family members and students, while maintaining a fluid and harmonious connection throughout the home.

A key element of the house’s exterior design is the use of corten steel louvers. This material, known for its distinctive rust-like patina, blends organically with the surrounding hilly landscape, offering a striking contrast to the lush greenery. The louvers not only add visual interest and texture to the façade, but also play a functional role in regulating light and temperature, enhancing privacy, and creating dynamic patterns of light and shadow within the interior spaces. This thoughtful combination of functionality and aesthetics emphasizes the deep connection between the home and its natural environment, reflecting the holistic lifestyle and philosophy of its residents.
